Ruhnau Ruhnau Clarke has expanded its office space to keep up with its workforce growth. The Riverside-based architectural-services firm, which has increased its headcount from 45 to 75 over the last three years, completed a total renovation of its office in mid-July.

The firm has established a reputation for its positive work environment, having been named to The Press-Enterprise’s Top Workplaces in 2016 for a second year in a row. According to Paul Gill, director of client relations, doing the right thing for clients is always Ruhnau Ruhnau Clarke’s chief goal, and its employees know this and thrive amid that environment.

“Getting new business is very important to our growth, but our top priority is to listen to our current clients and ensure that we are taking care of them in the best way possible,” he said.

Gill noted that Ruhnau Ruhnau Clarke has a young, dedicated group of employees who enjoy their work and especially the people with whom they work. The company emphasizes employee development by attending conferences; by holding “lunch and learns,” “group thinks” and design competitions; and by taking younger employees along with senior staff to meet current and potential clients and many of the principals with whom the company works as partners and consultants.

A member of the Riverside community since 1950, the firm supports such organizations as the Riverside Area Rape Crisis Center, United Way of the Inland Valleys, Olive Crest, the Riverside Arts Academy, the Gestalt Theatre projects, the RCC Tigerbackers, Mount San Jacinto Community College, the Riverside Philharmonic, the Salvation Army and local schools.
